Meeting Minutes
MembershipAnyone interested in the advancement of the Profession of Project Management is welcome to attend society events. Practitioners who plan to become certified as PMP's are encouraged to attend society events in particular. Only persons who are currently certified as Project Management Professionals (PMPs) may become regular members of the Society and have the right to vote. There is no fee for membership and members may resign at any time. To join the society, please contact the registrar.
Technical ProceedingsAbstracts of technical and educational presentations made at Professional Development Seminars of the Society will be posted here.
Notices, Announcements, and DiscussionArchive of notices, newsletters, and announcements issued by the Society will be posted here. If you were not able to attend our first meeting on January 30th, please complete this survey [55 KB, DOC] and email it to the registrar. The feedback from the survey will be used when planning future society events.
Professional Re-Certification and Earning PDUsThe Society of PM Professionals of Greater Vancouver have worked with Dr. Joseph Zerby, PMI Accreditation Programs Administrator, to clarify entitlements to Professional Development Units for various activities. Their work to confirm this entitlement of PDUs has enabled other societies to conduct similar education seminars and earn PDUs as well. Thank you Society of PM Professionals of Greater Vancouver! If you attended a society event and you are a PMP, you can claim PDUs.
